psychloSPORT is a family run independent bike shop business established since 1999. Set in the beautiful Victorian Spa town of Harrogate North Yorkshire with easy access links from Leeds and Bradford in the South, Ripon to the North and the A1 from the East, we have excellent riding opportunities on our doorstep and are within an hour’s drive of three National Parks, the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and the Peak District.
Our business is based around the passion for and the involvement in the sport and recreation of cycling, principally mountain bikes but road biking as well.
psychloSPORT prides itself on offering a full and comprehensive range of services and equipment, selling from the best of well known brands and quality alternatives where available. As we are heavily into the activity of cycling (the MTB club riding out twice weekly all year round) you can be assured that advice given is always based upon solid experience and personal knowledge. We ride what we sell and we sell what we ride.
Many customers seek upgrades and improvements to their cycling life and equipment, returning often for the experience we provide. We remember all our customers (much to their surprise) as indeed they remember us. From the most mundane of tasks such as repairing a puncture to designing, speccing and building a £5000 Custom bike, we offer a top quality service. All our work is fully guaranteed and is done to the highest possible standard.
COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE, QUALITY AS STANDARD.
Some of our current customers date back to our very early days and are more like good friends than customers merely buying items. If you are travelling from a distance the kettle is always full and a decent range of food outlets are available within a two minute walk. Parking is ample, free and easy to locate being just outside the shop.
Even if you just want to pop in and talk biking we can usually oblige.
New and used bikes of all types are available, road bikes to BMX, trials to downhill, we have experience of maintaining, riding and selling them all.
psychloSPORT is almost always around to answer your needs, offer you advice and of course sell you stuff! As an active shop we do need to find time to do our own thing, so we do not open Sundays (riding) – however we do remain open until 6.30 in the evening (or longer by arrangement) every night.
We have supplied customers via mail order and telephone across the country and even abroad before now. Our reputation stands before us and we are proud to do what we do – provide a quality experience, knowledgeable advice, superb rides and have a working kettle.
